Cole Phillips (he/him) is a writer and educator living in coastal Maine. He teaches at Manchester Community College and in the Master’s of Professional Writing program at New England College. He holds an MFA from New England College and is a PhD candidate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His work has been featured in Fence, Laurel Review, Hobart, New World Writing, Juked, Post Road, HAD, Green Mountains Review, and elsewhere. His work has been longlisted or a finalist for the Wigleaf Top 50 Very Short Fictions, the River Styx Microfiction Award, and the Reflex Press Novella Award, among others. He is the author of Standish Blue (Ghost City Press) and Love as the Difference Separating Us (Bottlecap Press). He has edited and read prose for Malasaña Literary and Arts Journal and The Adroit Journal, respectively.
